It is essential for agents to keep up with new developments in the company's products and services as well as in the industry so clients are served wisely. During an agent's first year, approximately 300 hours of classroom and field training will be provided in the Mutual Savings Agent Development Program.

This structured program teaches new agents effective selling techniques, time management and planning, and provides a solid knowledge of Mutual Savings products and services. A Sales Manager works closely with you to answer your questions and supervise your progress. Mutual Savings is strongly committed to providing continuing education to improve the insurance knowledge of all our agents.

As new products are introduced, training is essential for our agents to compete in the marketplace. Product training is provided on a continuous basis throughout your career. Additional courses of study available are: state-required continuing education, Home Office Agent Schools, Sales Manager Development Conferences and the Life Underwriters Training Courses (L.U.T.C.), a five year training program endorsed by Mutual Savings.
